Board of Supervisors

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors is the legislative branch of the county government of San Diego County, California. Though officially nonpartisan, three Democrats and two Republicans currently comprise the Board of Supervisors. The latest election occurred in 2020 and next election is in 2022.

On April 6, the Board voted on a 3-2 vote to approve eviction moratorium and rent controls that are more restrictive than state law. Contact your representative and hold them accountable.

    @nathanfletcher Deeply disappointed with your vote. Too many loopholes for bad actors to skip rent, damage property, & hurt other renters. Many veterans used VA loans for homes they can't even move into because of the state moratorium.
